About WHF Rwanda
Learn about our origins, guiding principles, and the team driving maternal and reproductive health equity.
Born to Bridge the Gap
Rwanda has made remarkable progress in national health outcomes over the past decade. Yet, significant gaps remain in sexual and reproductive health (SRH) for women, adolescent girls, and marginalized communities.
WHF was established in February 2026 to close these critical gaps. We were born out of the Women's Health and Fertility Clinic, serving as its community outreach and advocacy arm. Our focus is simple: taking essential medical services beyond clinic walls and directly into underserved communities across Rwanda.
Barriers such as geographic isolation, financial hardship, social stigma, and limited health infrastructure continue to leave millions without access to the care they need. WHF exists to break down these barriers and build pathways to health equity.
