Screening Program 04

Cancer Screening — Cervical & Breast

Program Description

Community-based cervical cancer screening via VIA and HPV testing, breast cancer via clinical examination. Train nurses and CHWs; advocate for early detection.

Through evidence-based clinical protocols and collaborative community relations, we deploy specialized health practitioners and volunteers directly to underserved sites. We address the root socioeconomic and cultural causes of health disparity, working hand-in-hand with administrative partners to build lasting local capacity.

Key Core Interventions

  • Provide visual inspection with acetic acid (VIA) screening
  • Run HPV self-testing advocacy drives
  • Train local nurses and CHWs in breast clinical exams
  • Coordinate referrals for oncology care and treatment
