Menstrual health is a fundamental right. Unfortunately, many young girls continue to miss school due to a lack of hygienic sanitary materials. To combat this issue, the Women's Health Foundation Rwanda recently organized a major outreach under our Menstrual Hygiene Management program.
Over 500 reusable sanitary pads were distributed to girls in low-income schools. The team also conducted comprehensive education sessions on hygienic practices, helping break down the social stigma associated with menstruation.
