Empowerment Program 10

Sewing & Economic Empowerment

Program Description

Equip GBV survivors, fistula patients, and low-income women with professional sewing and tailoring skills to foster financial independence and long-term socio-economic reintegration.

Through evidence-based clinical protocols and collaborative community relations, we deploy specialized health practitioners and volunteers directly to underserved sites. We address the root socioeconomic and cultural causes of health disparity, working hand-in-hand with administrative partners to build lasting local capacity.

Key Core Interventions

  • Run a fully equipped vocational tailoring center
  • Provide raw materials and toolkits (sewing machines)
  • Offer business management and financial literacy classes
  • Help graduates form cooperatives and access local markets
